AbleLight is seeking a Retail Sales Associate in Crystal Lake, IL. You will provide fast, friendly service, operate the cash register, and assist donors with their donations while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include handling transactions, answering inquiries, stocking merchandise, and supporting fundraising efforts. This role requiresstanding for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs; 14+ age acceptable with flexible hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 14 years or older.
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Stand on your feet for up to eight hours.

Responsabilités

• Create a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere for customers and donors.
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in a professional manner.
• Assist donors with their donations and provide tax receipts.
• Keep donation center organized inside and out.
• Assist in stocking sales floor and displays.
• Participate in fundraising efforts such as round ups at the register.

Pay Rate:

$15.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for creating a friendly, clean, and safe atmosphere where our customers and donors feel welcome and comfortable. Responsibilities include:
• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Answer and respond to telephone customers in professional manner.
• Support donors with their donations: Transfer merchandise from donor vehicle to building and offers tax receipts to every donor. Keeps inside and outside of donation center organized and clean.
• Assist in stocking sales floor, stock rotation, displays and organization of merchandise.
• Actively participate and support raising funds for the AbleLight charity through “round ups” at the register and other events initiated by AbleLight.
