Job summary

NW Staffing LLC || dba Express Rx is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) to oversee all aspects of the retail pharmacy, supervise staff, process prescriptions, and engage with patients. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, patient care, and efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, inventory control, and liaison with physicians and nurses. Pharmacist license, immunization certification, and retail experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist with state board registration
• 5+ years retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Immunization certification required
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
• Compounding experience a plus
• Strong focus on patient care and safety
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Experience with Pioneer pharmacy system advantageous

Responsibilities

• Oversee all retail pharmacy operations and staff supervision
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws governing pharmacy
• Maintain records of prescription transactions and third-party claims
• Consult with physicians on formulary and therapy options
• Monitor storage, distribution, and use of medications
• Provide training and assist with performance evaluations
• Document medication errors to supervisor and insurer
• Maintain close control over store-level operations
