Job summary

NW Staffing LLC (dba Express Rx) is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee all aspects of a retail pharmacy, especially when the PIC is not present. The role includes supervising pharmacy staff, processing prescriptions, and engaging with patients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

National Certification - required
Registered and Licensed with State Board of Pharmacy - required
Experience as a Pharmacist in a retail environment - preferred
PharmD or BS in Pharmacy
Immunization Certification a plus
Proven focus on patient care - required
Outstanding organizational skills
Experience with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain records of all pharmacy transactions per state and federal laws; ensure legal operation and inspections.
Submit claims for third-party reimbursement; consult with physicians on formulary medications and cost-effective therapies.
Provide training, assign duties, and conduct performance evaluations.
Document and report medication errors to supervisor.
Maintain close control over all store-level operations.
