Job summary

In this lead role, you’ll support the Store Manager in opening and closing, help with planograms, and train teammates as needed. The position requires strong communication, basic math, and reliability in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandise presentation guides.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and operate a cash register.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and process transactions, collect payment and give change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store; take out trash; mop floors; clean restrooms and stockroom.
• Assist in implementation and maintenance of planograms and merchandising.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform additional duties typically performed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager in their absence.
