Job summary

Dollar General in Tulsa, OK is seeking a dedicated Cashier/Stocker to support store operations and serve customers. You will help with stocking, pricing, and maintaining merchandise layouts while delivering friendly service.

In this lead-capacity role during the absence of store leadership, you will assist in cash handling, plan-o-grams, and day-to-day tasks to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, safety, and facility policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock shelves; rotate and face merchandise.
• Provide exemplary customer service and assist customers in locating items.
• Operate cash register; total purchases and bag merchandise; process payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness, stockroom, and restrooms; support plan‑o‑gram implementation.
• Open and/or close the store under the direction of the Area Manager.
• In absence of the Store Manager, authorize refunds/overrides and assist with cash management.
