Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support store operations, stock shelves, and assist customers with a friendly attitude. In the absence of the Store Manager, you may lead the team and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.

You will help implement plan-o-grams, balance registers, and maintain a clean, organized store environment while protecting company assets. Excellent customer service is essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience in cashiering or retail environment is helpful.
• Ability to perform basic math and basic computer/pOS tasks.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise per store procedures.
• Maintain plan-o-grams and merchandise displays.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and bag items.
