Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Cashier/Stocker to support daily store operations in Tulsa area. You will assist in unloading trucks, stocking, organizing displays, and helping customers with merchandise location and checkout. You may act as a lead when the Store Manager is unavailable.

Finance and loss-prevention procedures, cash handling, and proper register use are essential. High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.

Responsibilities

• Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and lead in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs.
• Provide exemplary customer service and help maximize profitability and teamwork.
• Unload trucks and stock merchandise; rotate, face, and build displays.
• Open/close store under direction of Area Manager and maintain store safety.
