Job summary

Dollar General Corporation seeks a cashier/stocker with lead capacity. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, greet customers, and operate the register. The role includes assisting in plan-o-gram implementation and maintaining store standards to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.

In the absence of store management, you may authorize refunds and oversee cashier accountability. A high school diploma and some supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations and cash handling.
• Experience with cash registers and store security practices.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise per store process.
• Greet customers and assist in locating items; rotate stock and maintain displays.
• Operate cash register, process payments, and provide correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety; assist in plan-o-gram implementation.
• Open/close the store under Area Manager guidance; support in security procedures.
