Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations (add/sub/multiply/divide/percentages).
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability.
• Ability to operate IBM cash register functions.
• Knowledge of cash, facility and safety policies and practices.
• Effective interpersonal and oral and written communication.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and follow prescribed processes to receive and stock merchandise.
• Stock, rotate, face shelves, and build displays; restock returns.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and maintain store cleanliness.
• Operate cash register, bag items, collect payments, and give change.
• Maintain plan-of-grams and end caps; set up sidewalk displays as needed.
• Ensure a clean, safe, organized store and protect assets.
