Dollar General Corporation seeks a capable Cashier/Stocker who can lead in the absence of store management. You will help implement plan-o-grams, load and stock merchandise, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

You will also manage register operations, assist with deposits, and uphold safety and loss-prevention standards while maintaining a clean, organized store for customers and team members alike.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic math and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposits.
• Experience operating cash registers or IBM cash register functions.
• Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.

Responsabilités

• Unload trucks following store procedures.
• Receive, open, and unpack cartons and totes.
• Stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, and restock returned items.
• Greet customers and assist in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and bag merchandise; collect payment and give change.
• Maintain store cleanliness and organize front end and stockroom.
