Job summary

PuroClean of North Seattle is seeking a Lead Restoration Technician to manage field projects, ensure high-quality restoration services, and mentor junior technicians. This hands-on role involves working with the owners, overseeing job execution, equipment, and documentation.

You will lead mitigation efforts, apply moisture readings, and coordinate with customers to explain the process. On-call rotations and occasional after-hours work may be required as part of our 24/7 service model.

Qualifications

• Hands-on property restoration experience including water mitigation.
• Ability to independently run or lead mitigation jobs.
• IICRC WRT certification preferred; additional certs are a plus.
• Knowledge of structural drying, moisture detection, and safety standards.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Lead water mitigation and restoration jobs from initial response through completion.
• Assess affected areas and determine mitigation approach.
• Perform extraction, controlled demolition, and structural drying.
• Take moisture readings and monitor drying progress.
• Set up, monitor, move, and remove equipment as needed.
• Maintain accurate job notes, photos, moisture readings, and equipment records.
• Explain the restoration process clearly and compassionately to customers.
• Direct, train, and work alongside technicians, upholding safety and service standards.
