Job summary

911 Restoration of Appleton – Oshkosh is seeking a hands-on Lead Restoration Technician to lead water mitigation projects in the field, manage technicians on-site, and ensure projects meet IICRC standards from start to finish.

The role requires on-call rotation for emergencies, strong leadership, and clear communication with customers and the team. Company serves Oshkosh and surrounding areas in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Minimum restoration field experience, lead/crew lead preferred.
• Strong understanding of IICRC standards and water mitigation.
• Reliable, organized, and able to make decisions on-site.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift/move equipment and work in challenging environments.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead water mitigation projects from arrival through dry standard
• Direct and support technicians/helpers on-site
• Set up, monitor, and break down drying equipment
• Perform moisture mapping and job documentation
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide updates
• Maintain job site safety and cleanliness
• Coordinate with management on job status, materials, scheduling
• Participate in emergency response/on-call rotation

Location: Oshkosh, WI (serving Oshkosh, Appleton, Menasha, Neenah, Fond du Lac + surrounding areas)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25–$32 per hour (DOE)

Schedule: On-call rotation for emergencies (nights/weekends as needed)

Job Summary

We’re hiring a Lead Restoration Technician to lead water mitigation jobs in the field, manage technicians on-site, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to IICRC standards. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who can run a job from start to finish and communicate clearly with customers and the team.

Required Certifications

• IICRC WTR (Water Damage Restoration Technician) (or equivalent water certification)
• IICRC certification (active/valid)
• Valid Drivers Licence(active/valid)

Responsibilities

• Lead water mitigation projects from arrival through dry standard
• Direct and support technicians/helpers on‑site (assign tasks, ensure quality)
• Set up, monitor, and break down drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc.)
• Perform moisture mapping and job documentation (readings, photos, daily notes)
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide clear updates
• Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and professional appearance
• Coordinate with management/office on job status, materials, and scheduling
• Participate in emergency response/on‑call rotation

• Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, OCT, etc.)
