Job summary

Wilkinson Ecological Design, Inc. is seeking a Restoration Designer to produce documentation for land management programs and restoration projects.

You will ensure alignment with work orders, client needs, and regulatory requirements, while guiding junior staff and coordinating with the Director of Design. The role requires leading design deliverables, coordinating with the Hanover satellite office, and supporting permitting strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning or related field preferred with 1+ year design experience in ecological restoration or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field with 3+ years design experience in ecological restoration or related field or equivalent experience.
• MA Pesticide Applicator License to be acquired within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the design team to ensure projects meet client goals and regulatory requirements.
• Perform site analyses, fieldwork and document investigations.
• Draft detailed plans and drawings including Land Management and Restoration Plans.
• Lead design team with grant submissions and RFP/RFQ responses.
• Mentor junior staff and maintain CRM records.
