Job summary

Resource Environmental Solutions is seeking an Engineer III (Water Resources) to lead technical design and planning for stream and wetland restoration and stormwater projects. This role collaborates with engineers, scientists, and PMs, and may involve travel for field work and agency meetings.

You will apply advanced design skills, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality plans and temporary QA/QC support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or ecological engineering and PE license required.
• 5+ years of professional experience in restoration, stormwater, or site development.
• Advanced design capabilities for stream, wetland, and stormwater projects and related feasibility studies.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and modeling tools (HEC-RAS, FlowMaster, TR-55, Rivermorph, GIS, MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and plan development for stream and wetland restoration and stormwater management projects.
• Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Perform site assessments, QA/QC, and provide field support during construction.
• Mentor junior engineers and engage with regulators and clients to facilitate approvals.
