Job summary

Anchor QEA is seeking a Landscape Architect/Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience to support ecological restoration, coastal, riverine, and wetland habitat projects across the Seattle region. You will work with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and planners to develop 2D/3D designs and prepare construction documents.

Ideal candidates have a landscape architecture degree (master’s preferred), strong graphic/written communication, and proficiency with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, SketchUp,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited institution; a master’s degree is preferred.
• One to three years of relevant professional experience.
• Familiarity with ecological design, restoration design, and multi-benefit planning.
• Strong graphic communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site analysis and research to support conceptual design and design development.
• Develop 2D plan and section renderings.
• Develop diagrams to communicate technical information and design thinking.
• Develop 3D axonometric and perspective renderings.
• Support construction document packages, including drawings and specifications.
• Assist with environmental review, permitting documents, and related reports.
