Paradigm at Katy is seeking a Lead Respiratory Therapist to oversee respiratory care services in a long-term care setting in Katy, TX. The role involves planning, administering, and supervising respiratory therapy per physician prescriptions and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

The candidate will conduct tests, interpret results, mentor staff, and coordinate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers. A valid state RT license and BLS are required, with strong leadership and documentation

Qualifications

• Associate degree with major in Respiratory Therapy.
• Two years of experience in long-term care is preferred.
• Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification.
• CPR/AED or CPS for the Professional Rescuer certification.

Responsabilités

• Restore pulmonary function and administer respiratory therapy as prescribed.
• Perform pulmonary function tests and interpret results with physicians.
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and coordinate with nursing staff.
• Assist with discharge planning and home exercise programs.
• Document patient care in records and maintain confidentiality.
