Job summary

Paradigm Healthcare in Katy, TX is seeking a compassionate RN to deliver resident care with expertise in long-term care. You will develop and oversee plans of care, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility policies, while coordinating with the nursing team.

Ideal candidates have an active Texas license, an ASN, and at least 2 years in LTC, with rehab/restorative experience preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license in good standing.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Minimum 2 years in long-term care; 6 months rehab/restorative preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; leadership abilities.
• Strong knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy with MS Outlook and MS Office required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per nurse practice act and facility policy.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate residents' plan of care.
• Ensure compliance with policies and privacy rules.
• Provide prompt emergency care, including CPR.
• Direct daily assignments and oversee nursing staff.
• Ensure computer workstations are secured when unattended.
