Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to residents in a fast-paced SNF setting. This is a management-position to support the clinical team.

As part of a dedicated care team, you will collaborate with nurses and physicians, document in EMR/EHR systems, and respond to respiratory emergencies while educating residents and families about care plans. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist license (RT/RRT/CRT) or Respiratory Technician certification as per state requirements.
• Experience in long-term care or SNF settings preferred.
• Knowledge of pulmonary care, oxygen management and respiratory equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and breathing treatments to residents.
• Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status.
• Assist with trach care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans.
