Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II at Anderson Hospital to provide comprehensive respiratory care including evaluation, planning and education. The role involves supervising staff coverage, assisting physicians with procedures and ensuring patient safety during therapies.

Required two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional, state license, NBRC credentials, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a Respiratory Care Professional.
• Current Respiratory Care License in the state they are working.
• NBRC credentialing is required; RRT preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS preferred.
• CPFT/RPFT credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies as needed.
• Assist with procedures (bronchoscopy support, airway management, invasive monitoring).
• Serve as Charge Therapist to ensure staffing coverage.
• Educate patients and families on therapies and devices.
