Job summary

COOK INLET TRIBAL COUNCIL, INC. seeks a Program Supervisor for the Chanlyut residential program. You will oversee day-to-day operations, staffing, safety, and transportation in alignment with CITC's Therapeutic Community model and program goals.

Responsibilities include staff scheduling, regulatory compliance, case management partnerships, medication policy training, and ensuring participant recovery and wellness outcomes in collaboration with the Program Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field; substitution allowed on a year-for-year basis.
• Two (2) years of facility management or oversight experience.
• Two (2) years of experience supervising employees.
• Current ServSafe certificate and Food Handler card or ability to obtain in 3 months.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Valid Alaska driver's license and insurable under CITC's automotive insurance; at least 21 years old with three years of license.
• Associate Safety Professional certificate or ability within a year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Staff and participants' adherence to daily schedules per the TC program model.
• Ensure compliance with food, health and safety regs, OSHA, CARF, and state/federal guidelines.
• Coordinate support services for employment, housing, and counseling as needed.
• Oversee work therapy departments and ensure safe, efficient completion of tasks.
• Train and oversee medication policy and handling; ensure proper disposal or storage.
• Ensure medication procedures and self-administration follow regulations.
• Complete and delegate administrative duties among program staff.
• Supervise cooking functions, kitchen sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise program drivers and transportation needs per Recovery Services procedures.
• Promote Trauma-Informed care and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
• Maintain confidentiality and collaborate with Program Manager on training and compliance.
