Job summary

Cook Inlet Tribal Council, Inc. in Alaska seeks Residential Support Staff I/II to join the Recovery & Reentry team.

You will support participants on their recovery journey in a residential setting, fostering a safe, structured milieu and promoting healing through trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices. Responsibilities include documenting care, coordinating with treatment staff, assisting in meals when needed, and supporting group and individual sessions.

Qualifications

• The Minimum Core Competencies include values, leadership, professionalism, emotional intelligence, critical thinking and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED is required; higher education in human services is preferred.
• Experience in residential behavioral health settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional support to participants using trauma-informed approaches.
• Document shift reports and interdepartmental communications for continuity of care.
• Monitor program schedules and maintain a therapeutic, structured milieu.
• Assist in kitchen/food service as needed and uphold health standards.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect participant privacy.
