Polinger Company seeks an experienced Residential Property Manager to oversee a mixed-use property in Washington, DC. You will manage leasing, tenant relations, maintenance, budgets, and regulatory compliance to protect property value and tenant satisfaction.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to supervise operations across units and coordinate with vendors. Weekend availability and travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of property management experience.
• Familiarity with Fair Housing laws and housing regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and climbing stairs.
• Proficiency with Yardi and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
• Willingness to work weekends and travel between properties as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or professional certification (ARM/APM/CAM) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversee tenant relations, applications, leasing, and move-ins/outs; ensure lease compliance.
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and contractor management.
• Manage budgets, rent collection, expenses, and financial reporting.
• Develop and implement marketing strategies; conduct showings and promote vacancies.
• Stay current with housing laws and safety regulations; handle evictions or disputes as needed.
• Maintain organized records of leases, maintenance, and financial transactions.
