Job summary

J. Cor Architecture in Scottsdale seeks a Project Architect / Project Manager with 5–8 years of residential experience to join our team.

This hands-on role covers design, client collaboration, technical documentation, consultant coordination, permitting, and construction administration. The ideal candidate combines strong design and technical skills, can manage projects, communicate effectively with clients and consultants, and take ownership of producing thoughtful, well-coordinated

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of professional architectural experience with a residential focus.
• Professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and producing complete construction documents.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, detailing, building systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead residential projects from early design through construction.
• Develop design concepts and translate them into well-resolved architectural solutions.
• Produce architectural drawings and construction documents in Revit.
• Manage project schedules, deliverables, and internal coordination.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, civil, landscape, interior design, and other consultants.
• Guide projects through permitting and respond to jurisdictional comments.
• Review drawings for design intent, technical accuracy, constructability, and coordination.
• Participate in construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, site observations, and coordination with contractors.
• Collaborate closely with principals, designers, and production staff.
• Help maintain J. Cor Architecture’s standards for design quality and documentation.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior team members as appropriate.
