Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. seeks a Lead Program Counselor to supervise direct care staff and deliver services to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities.

You will implement behavior programs, promote community integration, and ensure safety and quality in residential settings. The role reports to the Program Manager and requires coordination of daily schedules, medical appointments, and documentation across program activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent in Human Services, Special Education or related field.
• Experience working with persons with disabilities in a community based day or residential program.
• A high school diploma/GED and one year of residential experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversees dietary needs and institutional meals for individuals.
• Demonstrates and implements incidental teaching.
• Facilitates teamwork to achieve individual program goals.
• Implements daily schedules with daily living skills and community activities.
• Provides direct care including medical, dietary, hygienic, behavioral supports and teaching.
• Keeps a safe, clean home and maintains agency property.
