Job summary

CIG Communities in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to lead our residential community's maintenance operations. This hands-on leadership role balances technical expertise with team supervision to ensure safety, efficiency, and top-quality service.

You will manage preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate with vendors, oversee the Make-Ready/Turn process, and drive budgets and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on property maintenance experience.
• 1–3 years of maintenance team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and general repairs.
• Strong project management and vendor/budget management experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, SDS documentation and building codes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance tasks across plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, painting and grounds.
• Prioritize and track service requests; manage Make-Ready/Turn processes.
• Manage vendors, budgets, and monthly variance reports.
• Train and supervise service technicians; participate in hiring.
• Conduct site inspections; enforce safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
