Job summary

Windle Design & Construction is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead residential projects from concept to completion. You will translate client visions into buildable, brand-consistent designs and partner with construction and project management teams to maintain schedule and budget.

You’ll guide design development, documentation, and on-site reviews, mentoring junior staff and ensuring attention to detail across all phases.

Qualifications

Professional residential design experience is required.
Experience managing projects from concept through construction.
Proficiency in space planning, FF&E specification, and residential design documentation via Chief Architect.

Responsibilities

Lead the design process for residential projects, ensuring each phase reflects the client's vision and our brand's quality.
Develop and document design plans that seamlessly transition from concept to construction, ensuring buildability and aesthetic integrity.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering trust and translating their desires into tangible design solutions.
Collaborate with construction and project management teams to ensure designs are executed on time and within budget.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining organization and design excellence across all endeavors.
Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure design specifications are met and address any issues promptly.
Stay updated on industry trends and materials to bring innovative solutions to our projects and clients' needs.
