Vitt Heating and Cooling is seeking a Lead Residential HVAC Service Technician to provide advanced technical expertise and mentor others in the service department. You will diagnose and repair complex systems, lead the service team, and help drive high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes leadership, diagnostics, and ongoing technician development, with a Monday–Friday schedule in St. Louis, MO, and a generous sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Advanced diagnostic skills.
• Leadership or mentoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex residential HVAC systems.
• Serve as the technical leader for the service department.
• Mentor and coach technicians in the field.
• Conduct ride-alongs and assist with technician development.
• Support onboarding and field training of new hires.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Assist management with technical problem solving and best practices.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager on scheduling priorities and training needs.
