Qualifications

• Ability to read plans and ensure workmanship quality.
• Able to lay out walls, stairs, and rafters accurately.
• Proficient in math, measuring, and estimating materials.
• Comfortable leading and developing team members.
• Willing to train apprentices and communicate with clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and communicate daily and weekly priorities.
• Coordinate employees, subcontractors, vendors, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure adequate manpower and materials are available.
• Review plans and ensure work is completed accurately.
• Identify and communicate problems before they affect the schedule.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe job site.
• Track materials, inventory, progress, and upcoming needs.
• Train apprentices and developing carpenters.
• Communicate professionally with clients, designers, and trade partners.
• Complete reports, photos, and updates through Buildertrend.
