Department: Nursing | College Administration
This position, housed in the College of Nursing, supports the Chronic Brain Injury Program investigators. The research portfolio may include, but is not limited to:
The role involves assisting with recruitment and retention, conducting day-to-day research activities for various grants, working closely with the principal investigator and study team, and managing a small team of research interventionists and communication with collaborators.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, time management, judgment, and organizational skills. Responsibilities include data collection, data entry oversight, training, mentoring, fidelity monitoring, experiment and report preparation, and developing data management strategies. Experience working with underrepresented groups or in community-engaged research is preferred. The candidate should be capable of making independent decisions and may be responsible for administering study protocols, ensuring participant retention, monitoring well-being, reporting, problem-solving, preparing meetings and reports, and overseeing data integrity and compliance. Collaboration with statisticians and preparing research presentations, papers, and grants are also part of the role.
The candidate must be willing to learn blood sampling if needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 4 years of relevant experience; 6+ years preferred.
