Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to manage multiple research projects across therapeutics, medical devices, physical therapy and outcomes. You will coordinate teams, train staff, and ensure deliverables meet deadlines while supporting recruitment targets and report development.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least one year of project coordination experience, with knowledge of cGCP and IRB procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biological, physical, social, clinical or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Project Coordinator at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab or equivalent.
• Knowledge of current Good Clinical Practice (cGCP) and its application in clinical research.
• Demonstrated experience with project planning in a complex, regulated environment; IRB procedures preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal/external customers.

Responsibilities

• Support Research Scientists and Project Managers by assuming responsibility for designated tasks in study protocols.
• Train Research Assistants and Project Coordinators on study protocols.
• Assist in development of study budgets and project work plans; track hours and expenses.
• Manage daily operational aspects of research projects including protocol development and regulatory documents.
• Interview research subjects for recruitment, retention and data collection; prepare study reports.
