Job summary

MaineHealth Institute for Research is seeking a Lead Research Coordinator to coordinate research activities within the assigned department. You will oversee the conduct of studies, develop research protocols, determine participant eligibility, obtain informed consent, and conduct follow-up with study participants.

This role takes a lead in training and providing ongoing operations support for other Research Coordinators, contributing to high-quality, compliant research programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health science or related field required.
• Certification by the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or Society of Clinical Research Associates preferred and required within two years of start date.
• Two years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research activities and oversee conduct of studies within the department.
