Job summary

MaineHealth Institute for Research is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator to join a hands-on team contributing to biomedical research. You will coordinate studies, pre-screen and enroll participants, schedule assessments, manage data, and communicate with sponsors.

You will collaborate with the PI, Program Coordinator, Study Center, and relevant MaineHealth departments. The role supports a hybrid work schedule and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and communication to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health science field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current applicable state RN license required.
• Two years of clinical healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of study activities and enroll eligible participants.
• Pre-screen and enroll patients and schedule study assessments.
• Manage clinical data and communicate with study sponsors and investigators.
• Collaborate with the Principal Investigator, Program Coordinator, Study Center, and MaineHealth departments.
• Serve as a hospital educator/resource for studies.
