Redeemer Health is seeking a Renovation Specialist to install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems related to unit renovations. You will monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform carpentry and finishing tasks for turnovers.

The role includes maintaining boiler room and generator equipment, repairing beds and nurse call systems, and ensuring safe, high-quality renovations in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus completion of maintenance vocational/technical school or apprenticeship.
• Significant mechanical maintenance experience beyond requirements; may substitute for formal schooling.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Computer literacy.

Responsabilités

• Install, operate, maintain, modify, service and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems for renovations.
• Monitor performance of heating, cooling, and related systems and troubleshoot issues.
• Perform routine carpentry and finish work for unit renovations and turnovers.
• Repair and maintain electric beds, nurse call systems, boiler room equipment and emergency generators.
