Job summary
Brookfield Renewable is seeking a Renewable Energy Portfolio Manager to oversee the financial, commercial, and financing obligations of our operating renewable energy portfolio. This role interfaces with tax equity investors, lenders, and internal teams to maximize portfolio value.
The position reports to the SVP of Capital Markets and requires advanced financial modeling, strong communication with senior executives, and a disciplined approach to risk and performance management in a fast-paced
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
- Experience with tax equity structures and project finance debt facilities; renewable energy financing knowledge is a plus.
- Strong financial modeling, quantitative and analytical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial, commercial, and financing obligations of the company’s operating renewable energy portfolio.
- Coordinate investor reporting, financial forecasting, covenant compliance, and distributions.
- Manage relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, and other capital providers.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure integration of new assets per standards.
- Support divestiture activities and assess financial impacts of operational decisions.
