The role:

Seeking a skilled lead remediation technician with restoration, maintenance, or construction experience to lead teams and interface with clients in East Louisville. This full-time hourly position includes a guaranteed 40 hours/week, jobsite leadership, customer service, and reporting to the operations director. You will work hands-on to assist customers during disasters requiring cleanup. There are opportunities for advancement based on growth and qualifications.

Core Responsibilities:

• Perform disaster cleanup and remediation services
• Serve as the primary contact with clients, explaining job scope and ensuring excellent service
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in safe, clean condition
• Participate in pre/post job briefings
• Complete paperwork and follow procedures accurately
• Travel safely to job sites, adhering to traffic laws
• Perform calculations, document jobs using software
• Set up and clean up job sites, applying remediation techniques
• Assist with planning, coordination, training, and job quoting as needed

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Experience with restoration, maintenance, or construction
• Proficiency with power tools and instrumentation
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Comfort with technology (computers, smartphones, tablets)
• Positive attitude, integrity, teamwork, organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Safety certifications or licenses (e.g., IICRC)
• Located in East Louisville or Shelby County
• Additional skills in maintenance, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, or other handywork
• Leadership or multilingual skills

Job Requirements:

• Willingness to travel locally and work in challenging conditions
• Flexible hours, including on-call duties
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, in confined spaces
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 60 lbs, and perform repetitive labor
• Willing to obtain IICRC certification if not already certified (training provided)
• Perform remediation tasks independently while providing excellent customer service
