Job summary

Power Integrations seeks a Staff Reliability Engineer to lead accelerated life testing, environmental characterization, and lifetime modeling for analog, mixed-signal, and GaN HV devices.

You will coordinate qualification tasks, perform failure analysis, and guide reliability methodology development in a fast-paced R&D setting with a focus on high‑voltage GaN HEMT and silicon IC devices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of reliability engineering in semiconductors, preferably analog/mixed signal.
• In-depth knowledge of high-voltage GaN HEMT devices and process tech.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication, assembly and testing.
• Proven track record of reliability improvements in semiconductor products.
• Experience designing reliability test hardware for dynamic life testing.
• Experience in bench testing, fault isolation and failure analysis of silicon and GaN ICs.
• Experience in qualification project planning and coordinating technical staff.
• Expertise in data analysis with statistical tools (Spotfire, Reliasoft, Matlab, JMP).
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills.
• Management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead accelerated life testing, environmental testing, characterization, and qualification planning.
• Coordinate and execute reliability testing programs for HV GaN/analog devices.
• Analyze test results and develop lifetime models for field reliability.
• Lead teams in R&D to develop accelerated reliability methodologies for GaN devices.
