Job summary

Power Integrations is seeking a Staff Reliability Engineer to lead accelerated life testing, environmental testing, and device reliability characterization for analog/digital ICs and GaN devices. You will drive failure analysis, model lifetime behavior, and guide R&D teams in developing reliability methodologies.

Strong communication and project leadership are essential, with management experience preferred.

Qualifications

10+ years of reliability engineering in semiconductors (preferably analog/mixed signal).
In-depth knowledge of high-voltage GaN HEMT devices and process tech.
Understanding of semiconductor fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Proven track record in reliability improvements across product, package, and technology levels.
Experience designing and evaluating reliability test hardware for dynamic life testing.
Experience bench testing, fault isolation, and failure analysis of silicon and GaN IC devices.
Experience in qualification project planning and coordinating technical staff.
Strong data analysis skills using statistical software (e.g., Spotfire, ReliaSoft, Matlab, JMP).
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead accelerated life testing, environmental testing, and characterization for IC devices and GaN devices.
Perform IC-level failure analysis and troubleshoot reliability test hardware to root causes.
Characterize HV GaN HEMT reliability and develop lifetime models for application profiles.
Analyze accelerated test results and apply models to predict field reliability.
Lead R&D teams to develop accelerated reliability test methodologies for GaN reliability improvements.
