Job summary

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a Senior Maintenance Engineer to lead reliability initiatives in a highly automated automotive environment. You will drive maintenance optimization, support capital projects, and develop long-term strategies for uptime and safety.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to reduce downtime and improve manufacturing performance, while mentoring technicians and leading continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years in maintenance/reliability roles.
Experience leading maintenance improvement projects in manufacturing.
Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and automation systems.
Ability to read drawings and analyze equipment performance data.
Proficiency in Excel and MS Office; knowledge of TPM/Lean is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead reliability and maintenance improvement initiatives to maximize uptime.
Conduct root cause investigations and implement permanent corrective actions.
Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
Monitor KPIs: uptime, downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and costs.
Provide technical leadership to maintenance teams and technicians.
Lead troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotics, and automation.
Support installation, commissioning, startup, and validation of new lines.
Collaborate cross-functionally to improve reliability and performance.
Oversee spare parts strategy and inventory management.
Apply Lean, TPM, and RCA methods for continuous improvement.
