Job summary

PACS seeks an experienced nursing supervisor to provide direct nursing care alongside supervising nursing assistants. You will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local standards, supervise day-to-day activities, and maintain documentation and ward operations in a long-term care facility.

You will oversee documentation, policy enforcement, and coordination with physicians and support staff to guarantee high-quality resident care and safe discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants in accordance with current rules and facility policies.
• Ensure nursing staff comply with written policies and procedures.
• Review and update the Nursing Service Procedures Manual as needed.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities with nursing staff and support personnel.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit it to the Business Office as required.
• Perform routine charting duties and ensure documentation is accurate and timely.
