Job summary

Mena Regional Health System in Arkansas is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. You will assess needs, plan and implement care, and supervise other team members to ensure high-quality nursing services.

Required: RN license in Arkansas, BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred. Five years hospital experience preferred. You will work with electronic health records, maintain regulatory standards, and participate in special events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and licensed as an RN in Arkansas.
• BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs, plans and implements care, and evaluates the patient’s response to treatment.
• Manages activities within the therapeutic milieu and directs delivery of nursing care by other team members while promoting teamwork.
• Documents observations and information on flow sheets and progress notes.
• May function as lead or charge nurse.
• Participates in computerized health information systems.
