Job summary

American Advanced Management is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Baton Rouge, LA to supervise planning and provision of nursing care for patients. The RN will educate staff, assess needs, plan and document care, and ensure quality outcomes for each patient under supervision.

The role requires an active nursing license, ability to read/write/speak English, and strong communication. BLS is required, ACLS preferred, with PICC line and specialty certifications recognized.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Must hold a current state license and maintain renewal.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• PICC line insertion certification recognized.
• Specialty certifications recognized.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing supervision in planning and provision of care.
• Direct and evaluate care provided by other licensed nurses and personnel.
• Educate, assess needs, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for each patient.
