Consor Engineers in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) to lead transportation survey services across Arizona. You will manage field data collection, prepare deliverables, and supervise survey crews.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership in land surveying, an active Arizona RLS license, and proficiency with Trimble, Leica, and Civil 3D. This hybrid role blends office and fieldwork and offers strong growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) license or ability to obtain within one year.
• 5+ years of professional land surveying experience with project leadership and client coordination.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, ROW, boundary, and construction survey practices.
• Experience with survey technologies and software (Trimble, Leica, Civil 3D).
• Thorough understanding of Arizona surveying regulations and mapping requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage topographic, ROW, boundary, LiDAR, UAV/drone, and construction staking surveys.
• Prepare and certify ALTA surveys, survey maps, and plats.
• Coordinate with transportation engineers, PMs, and clients for planning and design.
• Ensure compliance with Arizona statutes and ADOT requirements.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to survey staff and field crews.
• Implement QA/QC procedures to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Support business development through proposals and client outreach.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
