Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hands-on experience, active Texas RDA registration, and prior lead responsibilities including training and accountability for other assistants.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on dental assisting experience; lead role preferred.
• Active Texas RDA registration and lead assistant experience with training others.
• Strong chairside skills across general dentistry, prosthodontics, and surgical procedures.
• Ability to manage clinical flow: room turnover, sterilization, supplies, lab cases, and keeping the doctor on schedule.
• Patient-focused and team-oriented.

• Train and mentor junior assistants and ensure accountability.

Fantastic Smiles of Houston is seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our dedicated team. Our practice is renowned for delivering exceptional dental care to the community, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and innovative techniques. The ideal candidate for this role possesses excellent leadership skills and a superior chairside manner, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Compensation: $25-27 per hour, based on experience

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday through Friday
• Availability for occasional Saturday/Sunday shifts for weekend emergency care

Qualifications
