Job summary

Western Dental/Brident Offices is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead the back office team, oversee scheduling and training, and partner with dentists to ensure excellent patient care. You will monitor patient flow, maintain instrument sterilization, and uphold OSHA and corporate standards.

The role requires strong leadership, 8–12 staff supervision experience, and an active X-Ray license (or commitment to obtain within six months). Full-time position with competitive benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental equipment and OSHA/safety compliance.
• Current X-Ray License or plan to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
• Must have a current X-Ray License. (Or an agreement must be signed that the X- Ray license will be obtained within six (6) months of employment)
