Western Dental/Brident Offices seeks a Registered Dental Assistant Lead to supervise the back office team and ensure smooth patient flow. You will partner with Dentists, provide clear pre/post-treatment instructions, and uphold sterilization and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a back-office team of 8–12 people with authority and accountability.
• Working knowledge of dental equipment, terminology, OSHA and safety compliance.
• Current X-Ray license or plan to obtain within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back-office staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Participate in hiring, selection, and retention of back-office staff.
• Manage patients by coordinating with dentists and providing pre/post-treatment instructions.
• Oversee patient flow and scheduling adjustments to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure sterilization of office and equipment and OSHA/compliance adherence.
• Conduct regular inspections (weekly/monthly/quarterly).
• Maintain supplies and inventory across operatories, restrooms, and lab.
• Maintain patient treatment records and lead the back staff team.
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back-office personnel.
• Participate in monthly operational meetings and drive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)
