Job summary

Western Dental/Brident Offices in California is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead back office staff, oversee scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, and ensure patient flow and satisfaction.

You will collaborate with Dentists, manage inventory, maintain records, ensure OSHA compliance, and uphold sterilization standards while driving the Ultimate Patient Experience. An X-ray License is required or to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of 8-12 members with authority and accountability.
• Working knowledge of dental equipment, terminology, OSHA and safety compliance.
• Must have a current X-Ray License or agree to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training and evaluations.
• Participate in hiring, selection and retention for back office staff.
• Manage patient flow and ensure patient satisfaction with dentists.
• Monitor sign-in sheet and appointment book to adjust schedules.
• Ensure sterilization of office and equipment; maintain inventory.
• Maintain proper patient treatment records and participate in meetings.
• Support UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience) across daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)
