Placements24 is seeking a Registered Architect Project Lead for our Northern Cape client. The role requires guiding projects from concept to completion, ensuring design excellence, technical rigor, and client satisfaction.

The position blends office collaboration in Upington with remote work, and emphasizes leadership and cross-disciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate holds SACAP registration, a Master of Architecture, and 7+ years of post-registration experience, with a strong portfolio

Qualifications

• Master of Architecture degree or equivalent required.
• Licensed/registered with SACAP as Professional Architect.
• Minimum 7 years of post-registration architectural experience.
• Proven ability to lead architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Strong design ethos and leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; knowledge of construction methods and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Manage project teams, assign tasks, and mentor colleagues.
• Develop and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and standards in SA.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and consultants for seamless delivery.
• Oversee production of drawings and specifications; monitor budgets and timelines.
