Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a strategic leader to head a regional commercial lending credit team. This remote role (ETZ) focuses on underwriting, approvals, and portfolio performance, with responsibility for risk controls and loan servicing plans.

You will partner with sales leadership, relationship managers, and associates to meet lending targets, support strategic objectives, and drive credit quality within assigned portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of Commercial Lending experience OR HS diploma with 14 years of Commercial Lending experience.
• Knowledge of financial principles and credit industry regulatory structure.
• Proficient at Commercial Credit Analysis.
• Effective partnership building with sales leaders and relationship managers.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Lending Oversight: lead underwriting and approval, ensure credit quality standards and compliance.
• Portfolio Management: monitor and manage commercial loan portfolio performance and risk.
• Business Support: act as frontline resource for commercial lending matters and lead credit projects.
• Relationship Development: build partnerships with sales leaders, relationship managers, and executives.
