Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates South Lamar in Austin, TX seeks a Part-Time Lead Instructor to guide reformer Pilates classes and foster a welcoming community. You will teach 4–6 classes weekly, lead by example, and support fellow instructors to maintain high BODYBAR standards.

The role requires group fitness experience, strong communication and leadership, plus commitment to BODYBAR Instructor Training and Certification. Training in Fort Worth, Jan 25–29, 2027, travel costs discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness; Pilates/Reformer experience a plus.
• Strong communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Passion for member relationships and community building.
• Willingness to complete BODYBAR Instructor Training and Certification.
• Available for Fort Worth training Jan 25–29, 2027; travel lodging details discussed.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 4–6 classes per week.
• Deliver safe, engaging classes reflecting BODYBAR standards.
• Help create community in the studio through member engagement.
• Assist with class coverage; ensure studio is organized and ready.
• Maintain equipment and training records; identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate on schedules, themed classes and instructor assignments.
• Support community events, local partnerships and member engagement.
• Assist with social media content and posts.
• Communicate proactively with leadership.
