Job summary

Bodybar Pilates South Lamar is seeking a Part-Time Lead Instructor in Austin, TX to teach reformer Pilates, support fellow instructors, and help a boutique studio thrive. The role emphasizes community-building and exceptional member experiences.

Candidates should enjoy teaching, be proactive, and ready to lead by example. Completion of the BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training and Certification Program is required, with training in Fort Worth, TX (Jan 25–29, 2027) and travel expenses discussed

Qualifications

• Group fitness teaching experience required.
• Reformer Pilates experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• A passion for member relationships, teamwork, and community building.
• Willingness to complete the BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training and Certification Program, including passing the apparatus test-outs.
• Training in Fort Worth, TX, January 25–29, 2027 is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach approximately 4–6 classes per week.
• Deliver safe, engaging, and consistent classes reflecting BODYBAR standards.
• Help create community in the studio through member engagement before, during and after class.
• Assist with class coverage and ensure the studio is organized and ready for members.
• Keep equipment and training records organized and identify maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with studio leadership on schedules, themed classes, and instructor assignments.
• Assist with community events and local partnerships.
• Help with social media content and posts.
• Communicate proactively with leadership.
